Technique is a specialised procedure and methods used in a specific field to achieve a effective results. Technology is the collection of skills, methods and processes used in the production of goods such as scientific ways.

Technique is "the manner and ability with which an artist, writer, dancer, athlete, or the like employs the technical skills of a particular art or field of endeavor" while technology is "the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science."
