What is the difference between ~도 되다 and ~(으)ㄹ 수 있다? I’ve learned that they both can mean “can.” For example, you can say: 아무거나 먹을 수 있어요 or 아무거나 먹어도 돼요. Does 아무거나 먹을 수 있어요 mean more like “I have the ability to eat anything” and 아무거나 먹어도 돼요 “I have no preference in regards to what I eat” or...?

을 수 있다 = to be able to (can) 아/어/여도 되다 = to be ok to (can) So the first is: I'm able to eat anything. The second is: I'm fine/ok with eating anything.
