What is the difference between Community teacher and professional teachers?

I have seen 2 different kinds of tutor on italki. both of the are charging same amount to money for the hourly basis.

Hello both of you,

A professional teacher is a person who has taken courses in how to teach their language and works as a teacher.  A tutor is a person with a very good level of the language, they may or may not be a teacher in real life - I know of some tutors who are teachers!
