Hi Antonov! This picture on pinterest has the two parts clearly labelled: <https://www.pinterest.es/pin/323133342007149909/> Our hips are on the sides of the body, at the top of our legs. This is the part of the body we have to learn to move correctly when we're learning to dance! Superheroes pose with their hands on their hips: <https://www.pinterest.es/pin/246923992061897606/> Our thighs are the part of the leg just above the knee and below the waist: <https://www.pinterest.es/pin/527554543836585876/> Hope this helps!

The two words refer to different parts of the body. "Thigh" refers to the part of the leg which is above the knee and below the torso. "Hip" refers to the side of the torso below the "waist." Mothers often carry their baby on one "hip."
