How to say "It's been awhile." in Japanese?
I know you can say "hisashiburi desu" to a friend that you haven't seen in a while.
I was wondering what you would say in the context of something like "its been a while since I've studied", for example.

( A ) をしてから少し時間が立っています。(~ o shite kara sukoshi jikan ga tatte imasu.) = It's been a while since I've done ( A ).
For example:
日本語の勉強をしてから少し時間が立っています。(Nihongo no benkyou o shite kara sukoshi jikan ga tatte imasu.)
Alternatively, if you are only talking to yourself, you can say:
日本語の勉強、 久しぶりですね。(Nihongo no benkyou, hisashiburi desu ne.)
Hope that helps. 頑張って下さいね~。:)
