What´s the difference between 如果 and 只要...就
I have a little confusion between this two sentences (and I´m not completely sure if the second is correct):
只要你吃完所有的菜,我就让你去外面玩儿。
如果你吃完所有的菜,我让你去外面玩儿。
如果 and 只要 have a similar use, what do both of them exactly emphasize?

"只要A,就B" = "B, only if A", or "B provided that A"
The emphasis is on the condition A.
"如果A, B" = "If A, B"
The emphasis is on the consequence B.

“只要” It is like bet.
“如果” It is like consult.
如果 is more softer than 只要, also more mild.
