What is the difference between 'wood', 'forest' and 'grove'?
And are there other common words meaning 'forest' or something similar?

Hi Lucia. "wood" singular is used to refer to the material that comes from trees. Example: The table is made of wood.
"woods" (plural) and "forest" both refer to large areas of trees, whereas "grove" is usually referring to a smaller forrest, or group of trees.
