You can use "gorgeous" for inanimate objects (things that aren't people). Examples: "That dinner looks gorgeous!" "That was a gorgeous movie. The director put a lot of thought into the cinematography." "Your necklace is gorgeous! Where did you buy it?"

In addition to Leo D's answer, you can also use gorgeous to describe a person: "She looks gorgeous!" or "She looks gorgeous in that dress." "You look absolutely gorgeous!" Or even to address a person as a term of endearment (expression of love or deep feeling), or as a form of flattery: "Hello gorgeous!"
