How to ask "where did you get it from" in Korean?
I am aware of which words relate to what I am attempting to say, but confused about how to put them into a sentence together. I'd like to ask somebody where he got a ring from (who gave it to him, etc), but I'm not sure how to make the sentence. Help, and preferably an explanation of why the phrase is set up that way, would be appreciated!

반지가 어디에서 났어요?
반지: ring
어디: where
place + ~에서
나다: get
반지 is subject.
~에서 is always in front of verb.
