Hi, I am really confused by the meanings of the following group of words. From a Chinese perspective , they are all about humans,or Homo sapien. However, what are their difference in detail?
1. Human.
2. Human being
3. Humankind
4. Humanity
5. Mankind
Thank you in advance.

hi Yi
the first two are referring to an individual person, i.e he is a human being.
the last three are referring to our species as a whole. for example, that's one small step for man, one giant leap for MANKIND. this references all of us at once.
hope this helped.

Human: 人
Human being: 人/人类
字面翻译:人,众生(beings),我们是众多生物当中的人类。这词把我们与别的众生区分出来
以下的是近义词
Humanity: 人性,但也可以用于强调全部人类的概念
Mankind: 强调全部人类的概念
Gender-neutral term: Humankind 无性别区分的词
