Building a sentence.
Greetings.
I want to build the following sentence in Chinese: Having money is not everything, not having it is.
My attempt would be: 有钱不是一切,没有它是。
does that make sense in Chinese, and more specifically, does it mean what I want it to?
Thank you.

Your sentence is not complete enough.
钱不是万能的,但没钱是万万不能的。
(Money can't do everything. But without money, nothing can be done.)
This is an exaggerated expression.People say they have no money. It's a self-mockery。
But I advise you not to use this sentence.People will think you are very old-fashioned。

也许你想表达的是:钱不是万能的,但没有钱是万万不能的。
Maybe you mean: Money is not everything, but without it you can do nothing.
