Swiper x thief
Hello!
I was watching Dora and she talked
"swiper no swiping"...
Is swiper the same like thief?
Thanks!

In British English at least, to swipe means to steal, but I think swiper was invented for Dora the Explorer. I've never heard a thief called a swiper.

Hi Loren
The name 'Swiper' refers to the sneaky orange fox who steals key items that help Dora on her adventures ;-).
And, a better sentence in English is "I was watching Dora and she said ...".

Karen
