What is the difference between 君 and あなた??

As far as I know, 君 is casual but is for someone 'speaking down' to someone else, like an older person talking to a younger one or someone below them in another way.. あなた is more general and can be used for friends of needed but you don't generally say 'you' in Japanese. They prefer to say 'does Radu want to..' than 'do you want to..'. :)
