What's the phrase for "make a scene" which is not in public? I know that "to make a scene" means to make a public disturbance. But what about the same manner (shouting loud in anger) in a house with just two people in private? Thank you in advance.

Making a scene generally refers to creating a disturbance around other people. That could be in the home or in public when other people are around. When only two people are present, the expression "making a scene" would not be used.
