What is the difference between ¿Cómo es la fecha? and ¿Qué es la fecha?
Sometimes these types of questions are constructed differently in Spanish and I'm not sure which to use. They are both being translated (by auto translators) to mean the same thing.

I cannot think of a context where you could say: ¿Cómo es la fecha?.
If you ask ¿Qué es la fecha? You are asking for the definition of the word fecha and the answer would be: Fecha siginfica "date".
You should normally ask "¿Cuál es la fecha de tu boda?" or "¿Qué fecha es hoy?" if you want to ask "Which is the dat of your wedding?" or "What is the date today?".
