Use "Screen use can interfere with sleep." Interfere can mean "influence negatively" in a general sense, whereas hinder is closer to "obstruct/block".

The word "hinder" means to slow progress or to delay. For example, "the slow-moving traffic hindered my commute to work. I was half an hour late". The word "interfere" is stronger and suggests more obstruction. For example, "the tall buildings interfere with my view of the lake". Depending on the point you want to make, I would probably say, "Research suggests that exposure to excessive light from computer screens can INTERFERE (stop) with your natural sleep cycles, preventing deep sleep. The light from electronic devices can HINDER (slow down) your ability to fall asleep quickly even when you are extremely tired". Hope this helps
