Confused by a line of a movie. I watched a movie and there is a line which I can't understand. There are some lines in the movie like below: You are so fortunate here. I think I used to despise you all, with your little whims and desires, all leading up to nothing. Now, there is nothing I want so much as to share them. And I cannot. What does the third sentence mean? I know "so much as" means "even", but I feel that it doesn't make sense here if it means that.

Here, "so much as" means "as much as". He wants to share their whims and desires. He wants that more than he wants anything else. There is nothing else he wants (as/so) much as he wants to share their whims and desires. 他这么想要参加他们的奇想,世界上就没有他更要做的。 But he cannot share them.
