NATO Phonetic Alphabet
1) On the internet, I found that "Whiskey" is the code word in the NATO Phonetic Alphabet representing the English letter "W". I would like to know if "Whisky" and "Whiskey" can be used interchangeably when talking about the NATO Phonetic Alphabet.
2) When writing the code words in the NATO Phonetic Alphabet, is it compulsory to capitalise them?
3) If I want to write down the spelling of a word with the code words, what format should we use? (For example, fat --> foxtrot, alpha, tango OR Foxtrot, Alpha, Tango OR...?)
Looking forward to your response. Thank you in advance!
