Hi Asher! I'm so glad I found your post because I have the same issue. On my side it's black, and for some people the image is showing but it's not for most people, and the italki's team say the problem is not coming from them (and they are apparently not willing to help me any longer). Could you please tell me what you did to get your picture back to normal? Whatever the image or device I use, it's uploading a black image and this is driving me crazy!

Yeah, I’ve tried many different images, including the old one I originally had. I’ve tried higher and lower resolution jpeg’s, and I’ve also tried png’s

Have you tried changing it to different images, or always to the same image? Obvious question, I know, but thought I'd ask. Could be the image you are using is something that the system does not like.
