Farsi to English translation needed! Can anyone tell me what this Farsi phrase means in English: Bezan on lamasabo. Delemonam tang shode barat. I know that “delam barat tang shode” means I miss you, so I’m having trouble with delemonam. I also can’t find lamasabo anywhere. Sorry for any complete ignorance. I’m very new to the language, so I’m still struggling to understand. 😊

Hi Nicole :) 'Delemoonam' is a contracted form for 'delemoon ham', meaning we have also missed you! 'Laamassabo' is contracted form of 'laamassab ro'.. I guess you know 'ro' is the object marker in Persian.. So laamassab means like damned or bloody, etc. (It isn't necessarily considered as vulgar, it's just quite colloquial..) Hope it helps.. ;)

hi Nicole, "delam" means my "deal" while "delemon" means our "deal". got it? and although "lamasabo" is just a filler and it has really no any serious meaning but it could be something like "bullshit" but in a friendly way without negative meaning. if u wanna be in touch with a Persian native guy to help each other by our language, don't be hesitated and add me to ur friends. :)

lamasabo means" the thing ". depending on the subject you were talking about. lamasab also means freaking but it really depends on the subject you were talking about. for example my phone is not working and I wanna smash this freaking thing (= lamasabo) to the wall..... delemonam = also our hearts (which means we miss you)
