Do you mean that the pizza is expensive?
Kind of./ Sort of = (yes, somewhat)

You got the same kind of pizza as yesterday? ( = type of, description in some way)

Kind of is like if you want to say beyond of what you know
While sort of is you just tell other on what you just know.
