stick my foot in my mouth
Hello,
A woman wants to get with a old-fashioned hunk in a drama but makes a mistake whenever she has a chance saying like "I just keep sticking my foot in my mouth with him"
Can you help me with the expression above? Thank you!

'putting your foot in your mouth' is making a social blunder/mistake, or saying something without thinking that is embarrassing.
Whenever this woman talks to this guy, she gets so nervous (as she likes him) that she blurts out things or acts in a way with him that socially may be a little embarrassing for her or for both of them.
