j'en ai trop marre Could anyone please explain me why there is 'en' after je in the above sentence? As far as I know it is (en) used to replace a quantity in a sentence.

C'est exact. Ici, 'en' est un pronom ; il est complément indirect. Il remplace un nom. J'ai marre de cette chose. En = de cette chose.
