What does "gotcha" means?
I was talking with an english native and he said "gotcha". Could you tell me what it means?
He said:. "Gotcha, if that's the case..."
If do you think that that Word doesn't exist. Maybe, he wanted to write another thing. What do you think he wanted to write?

Note that although “gotcha” comes from “got you” or “I got you” (meaning “I understand”), we wouldn’t say either of those things. “Gotcha” has become standard speech now.
