Professionele leerkrachtYour experience of learning Latin and Italian same time
Hi there
I'm curious to hear of anyone's experience of learning Latin and Italian at the same time.
I'm roughly a B1/B2 in Italian, I can watch native tv series and read books with about 5-10 unknown words per page, but, I still speak a little shoddy.
Do you think it's better I finish up on Italian first (i.e. get to around a solid B2/C1 level), then begin with Latin.
Or
Is it ok to start with Latin now and learn them side by side.
For context, Italian is the 1st language I have ever tried to learnt.
Grazie in anticipo,
George

Hi George,
Latin and Italian too are different languages.
Latin is a *dead language*.
I suggest you to get to aroung a solid C1 (Italian), then begin with Latin.
Ciao :)
