Which is ok? How far is it from your home to the school? How far is it from your home to school?
What about ‘How far is it from your school to your home’ and ‘How far is it from school to your home’? I’m not sure when I need ‘the’ in front of the word ‘school’. Thanks

Both are correct and have the same meaning in this case.
There is a slight difference in nuance between 'the school' and 'school' in some sentences. For example :
He goes to school (school as a concept)
He goes to the school (the physical school building. Also a particular school)
