Is this sentence correct? I saw this following sentence today. 「私は……、何となく分かっている気でいます。」 What does "気でいます" mean? Is it correct? As far as I know, 気 is a noun, not a verb, so it shouldn't be followed by て/でいる. It should be 気である, right? Please help me, thank you! ^_^

I think that's correct. ”...気でいます” is like " I am as ... now" . if I say 「明日は仕事に行く気でいます」it means "I am as that I will go to work tomorrow now" so speaker is not sure go or not now but probably will go to work. so , 分かっている気でいます= I am as that I know it now . This is my opinion.
