Differences between 使,若,如
Hi all,
I have read that in ancient Chinese 使 was used in order to introduce a counterfactual construction, whereas 若 and 如 were used for plain constructions. Please verify if this is the case and if the differentiation still holds in modern Chinese.
Thanks!
