If it's in a dormitory, I assume you mean there are two or more beds and the foot of the bed are near each other and the head of the bed is farther from each other?
I would say, "We sleep with the foot of our beds facing each other."
Please let me know if I misunderstood you :)

It works. I am not sure that there's a good way to describe it.
Do you mean beds are close to each other?
Do you mean that beds are forced to be oriented this way somehow?
.
"head" and "toe" are common words to use to explain orientation of people.
.
The bunks are arranged so that adjacent bunks are toe to toe. (Usually taken to mean close together.)
Each other bunk was oriented the other way round, so that the closest ends of the bunks were always toes.
The bunks were arranged two along each wall so that going down the line of bunks it was head, toe, toe, head.

Perhaps, the bunks are arrange in pairs, with one facing each way, with the foot of one bed next to the foot of the next bed.
I'm not sure that "facing" is a term that you can use for "the foot of a bed". :)
