Normally to hop on means to get started.  In this case, I guess it's a sarcastic way to say that she will be into it at the moment. Hope I helped

However, in your example, the woman was being sarcastic. She is angry, and has no intention of fixing the man's dinner. She is annoyed that he asked her the question.
