Meaning of "take responsibility of" & "take responsibility for"?
If someone took responsibility for something, it means he was to blame for that thing or he accepted the duty to take care of the thing. If the answer is the former, how should we say for the latter?
Thanks

Technically when you take the responsibility for somethinng you are also announcing that you will “take the blame” if that thing fails.
So let’s say “you take the responsibilty” and you start doing your job... you don’t succeed and when the result is not satisfactory you will “take the blame for it.”
