Disturbed - Down with the sickness
Hello!
I am trying to translate the song "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed. And I am not usre about some words in the song.
1. Sickness. Does it mean "madness" or "illness" here?
2. Get up, come on get down with the sickness - what does this phrase mean?
3. Your mother - are these insulting words here? Like "shit", etc.
I would be very happy if you helped me with it!

This song is very big in gym/weightlifting culture. I used to powerlift to it but the ending of the song where he goes into a pseudo-freudian breakdown is a bit irritating.
I think it's a song about mental illness (madness), particularly that arising from parental abuse. Mother is used in context of mother f**ker which is an insult:
You mother get up come on get down with the sickness
You fu**er get up come on get down with the sickness.
