What's the difference between "final" and "end"? Can I say "final product" instead of "end product"? What's the difference between "final" and "end"? The dictionary gives "final document" and "end product". Why can't I I say "final product"? Why only "end product"?

At least in the U.S., "end product" is a set phrase used to describe the result of a process. To me, "final product" doesn't convey the same sense, even though it should.

Hi Irina, Yes, It’d completely fine to say ‘final product’ or ‘end product.’ They mean the same.
