to go away in English way In Russian, when someone goes away without saying any proper goodbye, we say "he/she goes away in an English way" (уходит по-английски). Do we really have such an expression in English?

(American english): I'm not aware of any such expression for this behavior.

In the UK we have no such expression. Am quite fascinated to know where 'Irish exit' comes from.
