Hello! I am here with question about stative and action verbs. What is the difference between words appear and appearing , mind and minding , depend and depending? When we should use them?

for habitual, such as daily, action, use present tense
for action at the moment, use present progressive, to be + -ing
She often appears upset
She is appearing to be friends with him tonight
(we often use appear instead of appearing,
but cannot say, she is appearing upset
He minds his manners
She is minding her own business today

Hi Weronika,
Your question is very general.
“Action verbs” express an action, be it t physical or mental (e.g. walk, read, laugh, cry, etc.)
“Stative verbs” describe a state of being (e.g. have, love, need, etc.)
To clarify, when you “walk”, you are literally doing something and it can be seen, but when you “have” something, you are not explicitly doing something.

The first of your pairs are all called the "bare infinitive" or the "root form" of the verb, and the second are often the "present participle." I can't explain as well as these links do :). https://www.ef.co.uk/english-resources/english-grammar/present-participle/

The -ing shows the action is on going. It is still happening.
I am typing as I communicate with you. My typing is occurring right now.
I type an email to you. This is true but since it is actually happening right now, I would say, "I am typing an email to you. "
