Is it correct to say “effective from today” & do I need the article “the” in this sentence?
Hi friends,
I have 02 questions on the following sentence.
“I am moving over to team B effective from today. “
1) Is it correct to say “effective from today”?
2) Should it be “the team B” or “team B”? Do I need the article “the” before team?
Thanks in advance,

1) I think simply "effective today" sounds the most natural, but "effective from today" still makes sense
2) No need for “the”
(In my opinion) the most natural way to say this would be: “effective today I’m moving over to team B”
