Is "groggy " used in German speaking world? As per Duden It is very rare. What is a more common word for "groggy"?

Yes, I have heard it in the sense of being tired, but there will be some people who won't understand it, especially elder people. 'muede', 'ausgelaugt', 'erschoepft', 'geschlaucht' depending on the context.
