Someday and One day ? Hi .. What is the difference between " One day " and " Someday" ? They both give the same meaning , but i don't know when to use each one of them inside the sentence . Thank you .

Someday is used in the future tense. By contrast, One day can be used in both the future tense and the past tense.

In the US you will hear people use both interchangeably. So even though there may be technically a difference, they are both used completely equally (just dependent on the person).

ā€œOne dayā€ indicates it will happen no matter what. While on the other hand ā€œsomedayā€ indicates it will most likely to happen. For example: ā€œOne day i AM gonna do it!ā€ ā€œIm pretty sure it will happenā€ Feel/see the difference? Hope this helps!
