I agree with what Evan wrote. Creepy is associated with scary and gross is related to disgusting. Hope it helps!

Hi Tims. Gross tends to be associated with the senses of the eyes, nose, taste, and touch, but not really hearing. (When someone says, "It sounds gross," he would mean it appears gross like in ~そうだ in Japanese.) Creepy is about behavior. For example, a 痴漢 in Japanese may be creepy, but would not necessarily be gross.

A person who follows you home at night from school is creepy. A person who doesn't bathe ever is gross. An abandoned house is creepy. A dead in the sun is gross. Creepy gives a sense of being afraid. Gross gives a feeling of disgust.
