most chinese ppl can speak chinese mandarin,but some of us just speak our dialects as usual~ and some foreingners can speak chinese fluently as well

Actually not so many speak Mandarin as their first language. Altogether a bit below 60% of mainland Chinese speak Mandarin up to a level were they can communicate. Less then 10% of Chinese speak Mandarin at home. The total number of Mandarin speakers (1st, 2nd, 3rd language etc.) is about 850m

The vast majority of Chinese speak Mandarin.But there are a lots way to speak it, those are dialects which have different accents, some of them even sound poles apart. And China has 55 minority groups, many of which have own languages. Tibet is an example.
