I am not sure, but I think using 'zhe' means 'the 'as well in Chinese:
这个
Zhe ge nanren
The man

Zhege nanren 
This man

一个 
Indefinitely you can use 'yi' ,which means 'a' in English.
Yi ge nanren
A man
