What does this mean, 'He is too deep into this to admit his error'? I was confused because it seemed to have two meanings: 1. He's gone too far so it's almost impossible to go back to fix it. 2. He's too absorbed in the matter and he doesn't notice his error. Thanks, Domasla

He is too deep involved. He can't afford to talk about it openly. If he would admit his error he would have to face consequences. To avoid that he will try to hide his mistake.
