In WHICH situations I must use each one of them...?

"Bass" and "Laken" have the same meaning which is = But
Bass is used in slang (informal) arabic, while Laken is used in Formal arabic (FosHa)
"Aw" means "or", "Ema" means "either"
Ema ..... Aw = Either ..... Or
