Is there really no word for foot in Japanese? (native speakers only please)

Alright, it's not that we have no word for foot in Japanese but we usually do not distinguish a foot from a leg and call a body part under a torso as "ashi" in a lump.
However, we use different kanjis as appropriate, namely, 足 for a foot and 脚 for a leg (both pronounced "ashi") and we also use particular names for describing detailed parts of legs and feet.

both leg and foot are ashi in jpanese.but they use a different Kanji.
leg is 脚(ashi
foot is 足(ashi
but, this is a little be sticky

Yes. In English we have the word foot, but I've always heard that in Japanese it is ashi, which can mean leg or foot.
So, is there no way to describe a foot in Japanese without pointing at it? I found a couple of words on a Japanese dictionary like, "futto", but I've never heard that word used.
