Can I use 'meanwhile' here? How ? The paper introduces the background of this research and then points out the main work of this paper. Can I say:' The paper introduces the background of this research, and meanwhile points out the main work of this paper. '? How to use the word 'meanwhile' here more natural?

"Meanwhile" means the same time, but a different place (and person). It's impossible for one person or thing to be in two places at once. "Whilst" (or even 'while') is probably what you want. The location doesn't change, so the one person/thing can multitask. "The paper introduces the background of this research, whilst pointing out the main work of this paper."
