Electric and electrical are adjectives that mean having to do with electricity or applications of electricity. Electric is used together with another noun to describe an application of electricity: electric motor, electric iron, electric car. Electrical is used by itself or to describe electricity as a scientific phenomena or an uncontrolled instance or activity of electricity". "An electrical burn", "an electrical short circuit", "That is electrical in nature". Electrical circuits involve only wires (conductors), resistors, capacitors and inductors (coils or solenoids). An electrical circuit can be described with fairly straight-forward mathematics. Electronic describes a circuit or application of circuits that includes components that allow electrical current to flow or not flow in non-symmetrical ways. Maybe it can only flow in one direction, or can only flow when a voltage is a applied between one point and another point. These components are usually made from a semiconductor material that does allow electrons to flow, but not as freely as a metal conductor does. The conductivity, or ability to allow electrons to flow within a semiconductor can also be made to vary according to different conditions.

Don't play with plugged in electronics while taking a bath because you might get electrocuted by the electrical charge. :P
