which one is correct? Mary and Tom IS going to ... Mary and Tom ARE going to... My wife and I am going to.... My wife and I are going to.... I don't know whether it's plural or singular. which are correct? thank you in advance.

and means plural because you add more than one so Mary and Tom are going to.... my wife and I are going to......

In both cases you have two people, so use "are" for the plural.

As the subjects of these sentences are 2 people, you must use prular verb are. if it was or instead of l, u must use a verb according to the last noun. my friend and l are going...
