Oooooh now that is a question. The word "soul" is defined differently according to the philosophy or outlook. If you want mine, I see it as the space around you. You can fill that space with any though or emotion you like, blah blah blah. A simple definition of the word "soul" doesn't really exist in English. At least not that I'm aware of.
