Rachel, I am sorry to disappoint you, but your written English needs to improve as well. The title should have been 'Why am I unable to speak fluent English?' or something similar. The body of your text also contains a lot of grammatical errors. It goes without saying that unless you improve your written English, it is difficult to improve your spoken English. Why, you may ask. Because, when writing, you have all the time in the world to check and improve your grammar and spelling, which is not the case with speaking; where you have to reply spontaneously. Because English is not your mother tongue

I don't think you can read & write English perfectly as far as I can tell. That's also what I heard from my other fellow Chinese who're eagerly working on English and claim themselves to be decent at writing and grammar so forth. There are a lot of mistakes above. I never knew what "influent" meant. Be bold, be reckless. The point that I'm saying is that don't be too greedy, wanting to attain the ability in a hurry, get it little by little. Don't be afraid of making mistakes when talking.

- enrich your vocabulary by learning new words - listen to conversations in English ( Google it ) - listen to songs , watch movies and focus on the pronouncing and word stress ( it will help you to understand them better and you can imitate the way they speak ) - you must practice your speaking skill by recording you voice and listen to your pronunciation and sentence structure , also , chat with your friends in English here in italki - write what you want to say in your pad , and use it when you need to speak to someone.

follow this advice, 1. Don't feel shy to speak in English. 2. It doesn't matter even if you make mistakes while speaking. 3. Remember no one will be able to speak perfect English without making mistakes. 4. Listen to others when thay speak. 5. Watch and listen to the t.v. and radio news. 6.
