What does PA suppose to mean when it refers to music? Thanks!
they shut us down, practically in the middle of a concert, unplugged all our PA’s.

PA = Public Address
It is a shorhand for the system of microphones, amplifiers and louspeakers so that an audience can hear a performance.

The PA's in this case refers to the sound system. The loudspeaker system that is used so that the music can be heard from a distance.
